Joel Aslanian has been hooked on fishing since he can remember. Growing up in Northern MI. He honed his skills on many warm-water species as well as one of his river favorites Great Lakes Steelhead.

Joel has been a professional fishing guide for the past 10 years, bouncing from Colorado and Alaska. He has experienced some of the top trout fishing in the world, and ranks the Gunnison River Watershed as one of the best. Photography, Hunting and Hockey keep him busy when not casting a fly. His passion for helping people learn and the ability to cater to all skill levels make him a great asset to the Gunnison River Guides Team.

 

Eli Wilder lives to fish! He puts in the time to know when, where, and how. Spending more days on the water than anyone else we know. Eli loves to have fun and that usually means catching a lot of fish.

Eli is a innovative fly-tyer with great patterns to match the hatch. A Colorado native with a great attitude who calls the Gunnison River home.
